What Makes this a Shamanic Retreat?
In this month-long experience, Mama Earth is our mega teacher. We also explore the “hidden realms” within our world and deep within you. This is my definition of practicing shamanism:
Being or becoming comfortable navigating many worlds…including the inner world. Cultivating a relationship with unseen guides who share our world – for balance, healing & play!
Many of these guides have so much to give! One of the archetypes that will assist you on your transformative journey is your dragon.

This very unique experience is held on sacred land in Cedar Mountain, NC. We meet in ceremony for 4 weekends at Terra Nova Center, in co-creation with the ancient dragons, fairies, and other Nature Spirits on the land.

Theme for our 2026 LeapDive Initiation & Immersion Retreat
Empathy, Connection & Understanding
Have you been experiencing an increase in your empathy? More sensitivity to how others feel and/or your system gets overloaded by too much stimulation or change? Perhaps you even feel the need and practice to retreat more, go out less…separate to protect yourself?
These can be signs that your consciousness is shifting – again, your dragon stirring.
During this retreat, you’ll be guided to explore and refine your empathic ability – to use it as a tool for connection rather than suffering or separation. We work to fine tune this incredible gift of sensitivity to understand yourself and others to a greater degree, bonding more deeply with the web of life – in respect, freedom, and play!

One of the most meaningful parts of the experience was the connection formed with the other participants. There was a depth of trust, vulnerability, and shared growth that created bonds I still carry with me today. Even years later, the connection with those I experienced the retreat with remains strong and deeply cherished.
What has stayed with me most is that the growth did not end when the retreat concluded. In the years since, the insights and tools from that time have continued to unfold in my life in beautiful and sometimes unexpected ways.

[The retreat is] a spark plug to the vast world “beyond” the one we usually operate in. It’s a little bit like living comfortably in the rather limited world of Newtonian physics and suddenly being propelled into a quantum physics reality. And yes, that opened up some very unexpected possibilities, like harvesting the energy of anger or frustration to manifest a true desire of the heart.
The essence of the retreat is to let go of the constraints of who you are allowed to be and what’s possible.

I'm Randi Janelle and I'm honored to help you in this exciting, transformative process!
In early 2024, I was guided to host a month-long shamanic retreat. My first thought was "that sounds fun!" quickly followed by "yeesh, it also sounds complicated and difficult!" It felt better as something I could do "way off" in the future - where I was safe to stay in my comfort zone. But once I said "YES" the path opened up for me, and shortly after I realized Terra Nova was the place to host it.
I'm co-creating this adventure with you, and with many other helping guides - first and foremost, your Higher Self, therefore I am constantly reminded to listen. This retreat is also supported by the Spirits of the land, and our incredible LeapDive facilitators, who have been through the experience and know first-hand what it is to trust and shift.
